From Asia to the Caribbean, Pakistan passport holders have visa-free access to 30 countries during the 2026 summer travel season.
The latest Henley Passport Index shows where Pakistani travellers can visit without a traditional visa.
Pakistani passport holders can travel to 30 destinations through visa-free entry, visa-on-arrival (VOA), or electronic travel authorisation (ETA) programmes during the 2026 summer travel season, according to the latest Henley Passport Index released in July 2026.
Although Pakistan’s passport has slipped back to 100th place globally after improving earlier this year, travellers continue to have access to several destinations across Asia, Africa, the Caribbean, and the Pacific without obtaining a traditional visa before departure.
The ranking reflects changes in global visa policies rather than permanent shifts in travel access.
Pakistan’s passport ranking in 2026
Pakistan’s passport ranking has fluctuated throughout the year as countries revised visa policies and bilateral travel agreements.
The latest Henley Passport Index records the following changes:

Visa-free countries for Pakistani passport holders
Pakistani citizens can travel without a visa to the following destinations:
- Barbados
- Cook Islands
- Dominica
- Haiti
- Micronesia
- Montserrat
- Rwanda
- St Vincent and the Grenadines
- The Gambia
- Trinidad and Tobago
- Vanuatu
Visa-on-arrival destinations
The following countries issue visas upon arrival for eligible Pakistani travellers:
- Burundi
- Cambodia
- Cape Verde Islands
- Comoro Islands
- Djibouti
- Guinea-Bissau
- Madagascar
- Maldives
- Nepal
- Niue
- Palau Islands
- Samoa
- Senegal
- Sierra Leone
- Timor-Leste
- Tuvalu
Countries requiring an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA)
Pakistani passport holders can also travel to these destinations after obtaining an ETA before departure:
- Kenya
- Seychelles
- Sri Lanka
E-visa options continue to expand
In addition to visa-free and visa-on-arrival access, many countries now offer electronic visas that can be obtained online before travel.
Africa
Benin, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Côte d’Ivoire, Equatorial Guinea, Ethiopia, Gabon, Guinea, Liberia, Malawi, Mauritania, Namibia, Nigeria, São Tomé and Príncipe, Somalia, South Africa, South Sudan, Tanzania, Togo, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
Asia
Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Bhutan, Indonesia, Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia, Myanmar, Oman, Qatar, Singapore, Syria, Tajikistan, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, and Vietnam.
Europe
Albania, Moldova, Türkiye, and the United Kingdom.
Americas and the Caribbean
Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Bolivia, Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, El Salvador, Nicaragua, St Kitts and Nevis, Suriname, and The Bahamas.
Oceania and overseas territories
St Helena.
Global passport rankings remain led by Singapore.
Singapore continues to hold the world’s most powerful passport, offering visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to 192 destinations.
Japan, South Korea, and the United Arab Emirates jointly occupy second place, providing access to 188 destinations.
Several European countries, including Germany, France, and Spain, also remain among the world’s strongest passports, while both the United States and the United Kingdom continue to rank among the leading travel documents globally.
India’s ranking also declines.
India’s passport slipped to 80th place in the July 2026 rankings after standing at 78th in May.
Indian passport holders currently enjoy visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to 56 destinations. Earlier this year, India reached 75th place after improving from 85th in 2025.
Travel requirements can change.e
The Henley Passport Index ranks 199 passports across 227 destinations using data from the International Air Transport Association (IATA). Rankings change whenever countries introduce new visa policies, update bilateral agreements, or modify entry requirements.
Although Pakistani travellers continue to enjoy simplified access to 30 destinations, entry rules, documentation requirements, and immigration policies can change without notice. Travellers should therefore verify the latest requirements with the relevant embassy, airline, or immigration authority before booking their journey.
