Her professional experience spans banking, regulatory compliance, and business advisory for businesses operating in the UAE.

Six years ago, Sehar Shahzeb moved from Pakistan to the UAE, choosing Dubai over Europe because she believed the country offered the opportunities she wanted for her future.

What began as an educational move gradually developed into a professional career spanning banking, regulatory compliance, investment portfolio advisory, and business setup services.

Today, Shahzeb works at Wealth Tellers, where she supports entrepreneurs, investors, and existing businesses with banking requirements, company structuring, compliance, taxation, and business formation. Her work reflects the interconnected nature of these services for companies operating in the UAE.

From Business Education to Professional Advisory

Shahzeb holds an MBA in Business Administration from GCU in Lahore, Pakistan, with a specialization in Retail Management pursued through an exchange semester at Ajman University in the UAE.

Her academic experience gave her exposure to different educational environments and strengthened her understanding of business operations and customer relationships.

She later gained practical experience in business setup advisory, banking consultancy, and corporate structuring during her time at DELTAKAP. This introduced her to the administrative and financial processes involved in establishing a business and meeting its operational requirements.

The experience helped shape her understanding of how company formation, banking arrangements, and ongoing business responsibilities connect.

Her Role at Wealth Tellers

At Wealth Tellers, Shahzeb works across several areas of business advisory, including banking, banking compliance, investment portfolio advisory, company structuring, and business formation.

She also supports existing clients with banking, compliance, and taxation matters as their business requirements change.

For entrepreneurs entering the UAE market, establishing a company is only one step. They must also consider banking arrangements, documentation, regulatory requirements, corporate structures, and relevant tax obligations.

Shahzeb’s work involves helping clients understand these requirements and navigate the processes involved. Her role brings together relationship management and practical guidance for businesses dealing with financial and administrative decisions.

Supporting Businesses Beyond Company Formation

A company’s needs often change after it has been established. New business activities, changing financial circumstances, and evolving operational requirements can bring additional considerations around banking, compliance, taxation, and corporate structure.

Shahzeb’s work with existing clients gives her an ongoing role in addressing these needs rather than focusing only on the initial setup process.

She believes that maintaining client relationships requires consistency, responsiveness, and an understanding of each business’s circumstances. Getting to know clients and learning from their experiences also contributes to her own professional development.

For her, meaningful advisory work involves understanding the requirements behind each request and helping clients work through them with clarity and care.

Why She Chose the UAE

Shahzeb’s connection with the UAE extends beyond her career.

She describes safety, cultural diversity, and respect for different communities as important aspects of her experience. As a Muslim woman, she particularly values being able to practise her faith and the respect she feels women receive in the country.

Dubai’s international business environment has also introduced her to entrepreneurs and investors from different backgrounds, giving her opportunities to learn from their experiences and perspectives.

Looking back, Shahzeb considers moving to the UAE one of the best decisions she has made. The move has shaped both her professional direction and her experience of building a life in a new country.

Continuing to Learn and Grow

Shahzeb views her career as an ongoing process of learning. Through her work at Wealth Tellers, she continues to develop her understanding of banking, compliance, investment portfolio advisory, company formation, and taxation.

These areas bring her into contact with businesses at different stages, from entrepreneurs establishing their first company to existing clients managing changing operational requirements.

Her journey also reflects the experience of professionals who move abroad in search of new opportunities. Building a career in a different country requires more than making the initial decision to move. It involves learning how the local business environment works, adapting to new responsibilities, and developing relationships over time.

Six years after arriving in the UAE, Shahzeb continues to build her expertise and support businesses at Wealth Tellers.

For her, the next stage is to deepen her knowledge, maintain meaningful client relationships, and continue providing practical guidance to businesses navigating the UAE’s financial and regulatory environment.
