The Guinness-certified 2.12-metre gold bar from BTC is designed like a ruler, allowing visitors to stand beside it and compare their height.
The world’s tallest gold bar is on display at the 58th Watch & Jewellery Middle East Show at Expo Centre Sharjah, giving visitors the chance to stand beside the record-setting piece and compare their height with it.
Presented by Bullion Trading C (BTC), the Guinness World Records-certified gold bar measures 2.12 metres, or 6 feet 11.5 inches. BTC has designed the bar to resemble a giant golden ruler under the theme “Measure Your Height in Gold.”
Mounted vertically on a dedicated platform, the bar is displayed alongside its Guinness World Records certificate. Visitors can stand next to it to see how their height compares with the enormous piece and take photographs.
Gold on a Different Scale
The display offers an unusual way to present gold, combining the precious metal with a visual experience built around its extraordinary size.
Rather than presenting the bar simply as an exhibition piece, BTC has turned it into an interactive attraction, allowing visitors to see its height in relation to themselves.
Watch and Jewellery Show Brings 500 Brands to Sharjah
BTC’s display is part of the Watch & Jewellery Middle East Show, which is being held at Expo Centre Sharjah from September 30 to October 4, 2026.
The exhibition brings together more than 500 brands from 19 countries across more than 30,000 square metres of exhibition space.
Five international pavilions from Hong Kong, India, Italy, Singapore and Thailand are also participating.
Now in its 58th edition, the show has been running for more than five decades and attracts jewellery houses, designers, manufacturers, buyers and industry professionals.
Exhibitors are showcasing collections and designs featuring gold, diamonds, precious gemstones and watches, while the world’s tallest gold bar provides one of the exhibition’s most distinctive displays.
