Dubai will host Dubai Future Week 2026 from November 18 to 21, bringing more than 10,000 innovators, entrepreneurs, investors, scientists and policymakers together to examine how technology and social change could shape the future.
Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Dubai Future Foundation (DFF), announced the four-day event on September 1.
Organised by the Dubai Future Foundation, the event will take place across Emirates Towers and the Museum of the Future under the theme “For the Human of the Future.”
The programme will examine developments in technology, science, business and society through a human-centred lens, focusing not only on what future technologies can do but also on how they could change everyday life.
More than 10,000 participants expected
Sheikh Hamdan said Dubai Future Week is intended to become a major annual gathering for people working on long-term questions around humanity and technological progress.
“We want this annual event to become a defining milestone in shaping the future of humanity and a distinctive global meeting point,” Sheikh Hamdan said.
The event is expected to bring together more than 10,000 inventors, innovators, experts, investors, policymakers, entrepreneurs, technologists and specialists from around the world.
The four-day programme will feature keynote addresses, debates, fireside conversations, workshops, international challenges and competitions, idea pitches, exhibitions, immersive experiences and specialist sessions.
It will also include closed-door discussions and public activations.
Five tracks focused on the human future
Rather than organising the programme around individual technologies, Dubai Future Week will structure its discussions around five broad themes:
How We’ll Live
This track will explore the future of housing, cities, mobility and longevity.
Discussions will also cover climate resilience, net-zero infrastructure, nature-based urban solutions, security, culture and identity.
How We’ll Think
The second track will focus on intelligence, education and knowledge in an era increasingly shaped by artificial intelligence.
Topics will include the future of schools and universities, critical thinking, media literacy, cognitive enhancement and the skills future generations may need.
How We’ll Innovate
Robotics, automation and emerging technologies will form the centre of this track.
The programme will examine areas such as quantum computing, synthetic biology, materials science and space technology. It will also explore broader questions around who governs emerging technologies, who owns them and how their benefits are distributed.
How We’ll Feel
Health and human wellbeing will take centre stage here.
The discussions will span food and agriculture, longevity science, biotechnology, diagnostics, mental health, sport and the expanding wellness economy.
How We’ll Do Business
The final track will examine how money, markets and investment could evolve.
Topics will include decentralised economies, artificial intelligence in business, startup ecosystems, regulation, risk and new approaches to value creation.
Technology, healthcare and space among key sectors
The programme will cover a broad range of industries, reflecting the increasingly connected nature of technological and economic change.
Key sectors include artificial intelligence, healthcare, education, fintech, logistics, infrastructure, mobility, robotics, automation, energy, climate and sustainability, sport, space, policy and regulation.
The event is therefore designed to bring together communities that traditionally operate across separate industries but increasingly face common questions about technology and its impact.
Bringing Dubai’s future platforms together
Dubai Future Week will also bring several existing Dubai Future Foundation initiatives and events under a broader umbrella.
These include the Dubai Future Forum, Dubai AI Week, AI Grandmaster, Dubai Foresight Awards and Dubai Future Solutions, Prototypes for Humanity, alongside TED Talks.
The expanded programme is intended to connect communities working across foresight, technology, investment, innovation and policymaking.
Dubai positions itself as a global future hub
Sheikh Hamdan said the event reflects Dubai’s broader approach to experimenting with and implementing future-focused ideas.
“Dubai has always been, and will continue to be, at the forefront of designing, testing, and bringing the future to life,” he said.
Dubai Future Week 2026 will take place from November 18 to 21 at Emirates Towers and the Museum of the Future.
With more than 10,000 participants expected, the event will bring together discussions around AI, robotics, healthcare, climate, business, education and other areas under one central question: what should the future look like for people?
