First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) has launched Send Now, Pay Later, a new feature within its Payit digital platform that allows eligible customers to send money internationally immediately and repay the amount within 30 days.
The service is designed for customers who need to transfer money overseas but may not want to make the full payment upfront.
Send money now, repay later
With Send Now, Pay Later, eligible Payit customers can complete an international remittance through the existing Payit experience and settle the amount later.
The repayment window is up to 30 days.
Customers do not need to switch to a separate platform or change how they initiate a transfer. The feature is integrated directly into Payit’s existing international remittance journey.
That means the transfer process remains familiar while giving customers an additional way to manage their cash flow.
Built into Payit
The launch adds another financial service to Payit’s digital ecosystem, which brings together payments, international remittances, rewards and other financial services within a single platform.
Rather than creating a separate borrowing or remittance experience, FAB has incorporated the new option into the existing transfer process.
For customers who need to send money urgently, the model could offer greater flexibility by separating the transfer timing from the repayment timing.
A broader digital finance push
Send Now, Pay Later is part of Payit’s wider expansion beyond basic digital payments.
