For many people who arrive in Dubai with little money and no clear roadmap, survival becomes the priority. Dreams are often postponed because responsibilities take over. For Naina Mohamed, however, survival eventually became the foundation of something much bigger.
Born into a large family with ten siblings, Naina grew up understanding hardship early in life. His father operated a small eyewear repair shop in a crowded public market, while his mother dedicated herself entirely to raising and caring for the family. Money was limited, opportunities were few, and every day revolved around making sure basic needs were met.
From a young age, he understood that waiting for opportunities was not an option. Supporting the family became more important than education, and like many young men from modest backgrounds, he entered working life early.
Those difficult years shaped his mindset long before success ever arrived.
He learned responsibility before comfort, discipline before freedom, and persistence before recognition.
The First Step Abroad
Naina’s first opportunity outside his home country came through Kuwait, where he worked as a helper for a catering company.
The work was physically demanding, but it introduced him to a much larger world beyond the life he had always known. More importantly, it gave him hope that he could eventually create a better future for his family.
Even with a modest salary, he remained focused on one thing:
Supporting the people back home who depended on him.
But Kuwait was only the beginning.
In 2005, he moved to Dubai during a period when the city was rapidly transforming into a global business and real estate hub. He arrived with limited English skills, little financial security, and no clear long-term plan.
What he did have was determination.
He began working for just 600 AED per month, sending most of his earnings back to support his family.
Life was far from glamorous, but somewhere between long shifts and exhausting routines, a defining moment changed his outlook forever.
The Sheikh Zayed Road Moment
Naina still remembers sitting in the back of a company van while driving through Sheikh Zayed Road.
Outside the window stood Dubai’s growing skyline, filled with towering buildings, luxury hotels, and endless construction. Watching the city rise around him triggered something powerful inside him.
For the first time, he felt deeply that he was meant for something bigger than the life he was living at that moment.
That realization stayed with him.
Instead of accepting his circumstances as permanent, he started looking for ways to improve himself, build new skills, and create opportunities beyond survival.
One of the first major goals he focused on was learning how to drive.
Learning Through Hospitality and Human Connection
After gaining experience, Naina became a limousine driver in Dubai, earning around 1,500 AED per month. The work demanded long hours, often stretching up to 16 hours a day, but he approached it differently from most people.
Driving became more than a job. It became an education.
Every passenger carried a different story. Some were tourists experiencing Dubai for the first time, while others were entrepreneurs, executives, and global business leaders. Naina listened carefully, observed how successful people communicated, and slowly developed one of the most valuable business skills:
The ability to connect with people.
Over time, his work evolved into executive chauffeur services connected to luxury hospitality and five-star properties. Years of travelling across Dubai gave him a deep understanding of the city’s roads, communities, lifestyles, and hidden dynamics.
While many people knew Dubai as visitors, Naina came to understand it through years of movement, service, and observation.
That knowledge later became one of his greatest advantages.
Turning Experience Into Real Estate Success
Transitioning into real estate eventually felt natural.
After spending nearly two decades understanding Dubai from the ground level, he already knew how different communities functioned, what residents valued, and how lifestyles changed from one area to another.
More importantly, he understood people.
While many see real estate as a sales-driven industry focused purely on transactions, Naina approached it through hospitality and trust.
His years in customer-facing roles taught him that clients are not simply buyers or investors. They are individuals making emotional and financial decisions that shape their futures.
