Abu Dhabi: UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, at a majlis in Abu Dhabi, where the leaders discussed national priorities and reaffirmed that improving the well-being of UAE citizens remains at the centre of the country’s long-term development agenda.
The meeting reflected the UAE leadership’s tradition of holding regular consultations on national affairs, governance, and initiatives that support sustainable development across the Emirates.
Leaders Discuss National Priorities
During the meeting, Sheikh Mohamed and Sheikh Ammar exchanged greetings with the sheikhs and guests attending the majlis before reviewing a range of national issues.
According to the Emirates News Agency (WAM), the discussions reaffirmed that the welfare of UAE citizens continues to guide the country’s development vision. The leaders highlighted the importance of strengthening initiatives that improve quality of life, enhance public services, and support sustainable economic and social progress.
The UAE leadership has consistently placed citizens’ well-being at the core of national strategies, including the “We the UAE 2031” vision, which aims to strengthen economic competitiveness, social development, environmental sustainability, and the country’s global standing over the coming decade.

- Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior.
- Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs.
- Sheikh Zayed bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
- Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence.
- Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Adviser to the UAE President.
