UAE President Holds Talks With Ajman Crown Prince

The leaders reaffirmed their commitment to citizens’ well-being and reviewed key national development priorities.

Abu Dhabi: UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, at a majlis in Abu Dhabi, where the leaders discussed national priorities and reaffirmed that improving the well-being of UAE citizens remains at the centre of the country’s long-term development agenda.

The meeting reflected the UAE leadership’s tradition of holding regular consultations on national affairs, governance, and initiatives that support sustainable development across the Emirates.

Leaders Discuss National Priorities

During the meeting, Sheikh Mohamed and Sheikh Ammar exchanged greetings with the sheikhs and guests attending the majlis before reviewing a range of national issues.

According to the Emirates News Agency (WAM), the discussions reaffirmed that the welfare of UAE citizens continues to guide the country’s development vision. The leaders highlighted the importance of strengthening initiatives that improve quality of life, enhance public services, and support sustainable economic and social progress.

The UAE leadership has consistently placed citizens’ well-being at the core of national strategies, including the “We the UAE 2031” vision, which aims to strengthen economic competitiveness, social development, environmental sustainability, and the country’s global standing over the coming decade.

Majlis Reflects UAE’s Consultative Leadership Tradition

Majlis gatherings remain an important part of the UAE’s governance culture, providing an opportunity for the country’s leadership to engage directly with officials, community members, and guests.

Such meetings help reinforce cooperation between the federal government and the individual emirates while supporting discussions on national priorities and community concerns.

The meeting was attended by several senior UAE leaders and officials, including:

  • Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi.
  • Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior.
  • Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs.
  • Sheikh Zayed bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
  • Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence.
  • Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Adviser to the UAE President.

Several sheikhs, senior officials, citizens, and guests also attended the majlis.

Focus on Sustainable Development

The meeting comes as the UAE continues to advance major national programmes focused on economic diversification, innovation, infrastructure, sustainability, and human development.

Under the leadership of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, the country has continued to prioritise investments in education, healthcare, advanced technology, renewable energy, and community development, while maintaining that the well-being of its citizens remains the foundation of national progress.
