Ashish Koshy was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Inception AI in June 2025, marking a leadership shift at the AI-native enterprise applications company, which is under Abu Dhabi-based G42.

Koshy previously served as Chief Operating Officer at Inception AI, where he led several flagship initiatives, including the deployment of the JAIS 70B large language model. His appointment formalizes a transition already underway, centered on sovereign AI training, enterprise-grade applications, and strategic global alliances.

From Healthcare AI to Enterprise Platforms

Before joining Inception, Koshy was CEO of G42 Healthcare. During that period, he helped build Biogenix Labs into the UAE’s largest diagnostic laboratory and oversaw the 4Humanity COVID-19 Phase III clinical trials involving more than 43,000 participants.

Earlier roles at Reliance Jio and Ooredoo shaped his expertise in telecommunications and digital transformation, grounding his approach in large-scale infrastructure and operational execution.

He holds an MSc in Computer Networks from Middlesex University and an MBA in Engineering Business Management from Alliance Manchester Business School.

Expanding AI-Native Enterprise Solutions

Under Koshy’s leadership, Inception AI has positioned itself as a provider of industry-agnostic AI solutions designed for enterprise deployment.

Its core product suite includes:

  • (In)Sight
  • (In)Alpha
  • (In)Procurement
  • (In)Climate
  • (In)Health

These platforms are designed to optimise workflows, enable predictive decision-making, and support scalable digital transformation across industries.

At the same time, Inception AI has prioritised sovereign AI model development. The company has built bilingual and multilingual large language models such as JAIS for Arabic, NANDA for Hindi, and SHERKALA for Kazakh.

Through these efforts, it aims to reduce language barriers in AI adoption while strengthening regional digital autonomy.

Societal Impact and Workforce Development

Inception’s QudraTech program focuses on Emirati talent upskilling and remote work enablement, aligning with the UAE’s national ambition to lead in AI readiness and knowledge economy transformation.

Strategic Partnership With Visa

In January 2026, Inception announced a strategic partnership with Visa to advance agentic commerce across Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. The collaboration integrates Visa’s payment infrastructure with Inception’s AI capabilities to enable secure, autonomous transaction systems.

Koshy’s mandate now extends beyond model development. The focus is enterprise adoption, sovereign capability, and AI systems designed for regulated, real-world environments.
