Dubai’s luxury property market is seeing growing interest in celebrity-branded developments, with a new tower linked to Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan adding to the trend.
Dubai’s luxury property market is seeing growing interest in celebrity-branded developments, with Danube Properties launching Shahrukhz Residences, a residential tower associated with Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan.
Located in Dubai Maritime City, the waterfront project will offer fully furnished apartments starting at Dh1.65 million. Buyers can pay 30 per cent during construction and the remaining 70 per cent upon handover.
The development follows the launch of Shahrukhz by Danube, a commercial tower that the developer said sold out on its launch day. Danube describes the new residential project as the world’s first celebrity-named residential tower.
Gauri Khan Designs Penthouses at Shahrukhz Residences
Interior designer Gauri Khan, Shah Rukh Khan’s wife, has designed the tower’s penthouses. Her involvement adds a design-led element to the project as developers increasingly use celebrity partnerships to distinguish luxury properties in Dubai.
The tower will feature more than 40 lifestyle amenities, with a focus on wellness, recreation and entertainment.
Facilities will include a longevity lounge offering cryotherapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, red-light therapy and infrared sauna treatments. Residents will also have access to sports facilities, children’s amenities, jogging and cycling tracks, a rooftop King’s Club and a private yacht.
The project combines celebrity branding with lifestyle features aimed at buyers seeking premium residential experiences.
Shah Rukh Khan Says Project Reflects His Lifestyle
Speaking about the development, Shah Rukh Khan said the project aims to offer residents an experience inspired by his lifestyle.
“I’m delighted to partner with Rizwan again for Shahrukhz Residences. The idea is to create a home that allows my fans to experience a similar lifestyle as mine. Having Gauri by my side in this project makes it even more special,” he said.
Rizwan Sajan, founder and chairman of Danube Group, said customer demand following the earlier Shahrukhz launch influenced the decision to extend the partnership into residential property.
“After the phenomenal response to Shahrukhz by Danube, our customers asked us to bring this experience to residential living, and we listened,” Sajan said.
He added that the new project brings together luxury, wellness, entertainment and premium design.
Celebrity-Branded Properties Expand in Dubai
The launch reflects a wider trend in Dubai’s property market, where developers are partnering with celebrities, hospitality operators and luxury brands to attract buyers from the UAE and overseas.
Such developments combine residential property with a recognisable name, distinctive interiors and lifestyle-focused amenities. For developers, celebrity associations offer another way to differentiate projects in a competitive luxury housing market.
With apartments starting at Dh1.65 million, Shahrukhz Residences adds another celebrity-linked development to Dubai’s expanding portfolio of branded residences.
