Daily service begins on July 20, making Aleppo the airline’s second destination in Syria

flydubai will resume direct flights between Dubai and Aleppo from July 20, restoring a route that has been suspended for nearly 14 years and expanding the airline’s presence in Syria.

The daily service will operate between Dubai International Airport and Aleppo International Airport, making Aleppo flydubai’s second destination in the country after Damascus. The route forms part of the airline’s continued expansion across the Middle East and follows the successful relaunch of flights to Damascus last year.

Daily flights to operate from Dubai International Airport

The new service will depart daily from Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport under the flydubai and Emirates codeshare partnership.

Passengers will benefit from a single-ticket booking experience, through check-in, and access to the combined global network of both airlines.

According to the published schedule, flight FZ1191 will leave Dubai at 11:00 am and arrive in Aleppo at 1:40 pm local time. The return service, flight FZ1192, will depart Aleppo at 2:40 pm and arrive in Dubai at 7:20 pm.

Return Economy Lite fares from Dubai start at Dh1,800, while Business Class fares begin at Dh8,000.

Supporting travel, business, and family connections

Ghaith Al Ghaith, Chief Executive Officer of flydubai, said reconnecting Dubai with Aleppo aligns with the airline’s long-standing objective of improving connectivity to underserved destinations.

He said the new route will meet growing demand for direct travel while strengthening economic, cultural, and family ties between the UAE and Syria.

Historically, Aleppo has served as one of the Middle East’s most important commercial centres. The restored route is expected to support business travel, cargo movement, and passengers visiting friends and relatives.

The service will also provide greater convenience for members of the Syrian community living in the UAE and the wider Gulf region by reducing the need for indirect connections.

Expansion follows strong demand for Damascus.

The launch of the Aleppo route builds on the positive response to flydubai’s return to Damascus.

Hamad Obaidalla, Chief Commercial Officer at flydubai, said the airline has experienced strong demand since restarting Damascus flights in June 2025.

He added that the new non-stop service to Aleppo gives passengers more travel options while strengthening connectivity between Dubai and Syria.

Following its relaunch last year, flydubai has expanded Damascus operations to three daily flights.

Network continues to grow.

The addition of Aleppo forms part of flydubai’s broader network expansion strategy.

In recent months, the airline has introduced new destinations including Benghazi in Libya and Bangkok in Thailand. It also plans to launch flights to Pokhara, Nepal, in September.

With the return of daily Dubai-Aleppo services, flydubai continues to strengthen Dubai’s position as a regional aviation hub while expanding travel opportunities across the Middle East and beyond.
