Authorities in Sharjah confirmed that an Iranian missile hit the Thuraya Telecommunications Company building on April 7, leaving two Pakistani expatriates with moderate injuries.
Emergency crews arrived within minutes, treated the injured at the scene, and then took them to the hospital. Soon after, officials brought the situation under control and asked residents to follow only official and verified updates.
Second Strike on the Same Building
Moreover, this was the second time the same building had been attacked in just a few days. An earlier strike hit the site on March 30.
Because of that, officials now view the repeated attacks as part of a wider effort to put pressure on important infrastructure rather than as separate incidents.
Even so, Space42 said that all operations continue normally. The company added that the strike did not affect services or damage key infrastructure.
A Broader Pattern
Meanwhile, the attack in Sharjah came shortly after another strike in Fujairah, where a telecom facility was also targeted, although no one was injured.
At the same time, the United Arab Emirates Ministry of Defence said its air defence systems intercepted one ballistic missile and 11 drones on April 7 alone.
As a result, authorities remain alert as attacks continue to target several locations across the country.
Since the beginning of the escalation, the UAE has faced hundreds of incoming threats, including ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and unmanned aerial vehicles.
Human Impact
The broader toll continues to rise.
A total of 13 people have died since the onset of the attacks, including members of the armed forces and civilians from multiple nationalities.
Injuries have reached 221, reflecting the scale and spread of the incidents across different regions and communities.
Current Direction
The situation reflects a sustained phase of targeted strikes combined with an active air defense response.
Critical infrastructure remains a focal point, while operational continuity is being maintained despite repeated incidents.
The pattern is not episodic. It is ongoing.
