A Moment at Dubai Airport
As she prepared to leave Dubai, a young Indian girl held up a handwritten sign at Dubai International Airport. The message thanked the United Arab Emirates for protecting residents during a period of regional tension.
Her name is Tanishka Veer. Before boarding her flight to India, she displayed the note as a gesture of appreciation for the country where she had been living.
The message quickly drew attention because of its sincerity. In clear and simple words, the child expressed gratitude for the safety she felt while staying in the UAE.
Gratitude for Immigration Officers
Tanishka addressed the message to Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai.
She thanked passport control officers at Dubai International Airport for treating travelers with courtesy and care. Her message acknowledged the professionalism of the immigration staff who assist thousands of passengers every day.
For many residents and visitors, their experience at the airport forms the final impression of the city. Tanishka’s note highlighted that experience in a personal way.
Appreciation for UAE Leadership
The message also mentioned the country’s leadership.
Tanishka expressed gratitude to Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. She also thanked Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai.
According to the message, their leadership helped maintain security and stability during the ongoing regional situation. For residents living in the country, that sense of safety remains one of the UAE’s defining strengths.
Words From a Young Resident
The note described how the child heard loud sounds outside her home during tense moments. Despite that uncertainty, she said security forces and police ensured residents remained protected.
Her message reads:
“Thank you to the United Arab Emirates for protecting us.
You have provided us with protection day and night.
I heard loud sounds from my window, but the UAE fighter forces and police kept us safe.
Thank you to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Prince Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. We love you. Thank you, United Arab Emirates.
Thank you, Emirates.”
She signed the message with a final note.
“The message is clear to the world. Dubai has always been, and will always remain, the safest place.”
