Creators HQ and Amazon Ads partner to turn content creators into product entrepreneurs
The Amazon Creators Foundry UAE marks a structural shift in how the region views the creator economy. Today, content is no longer the final product. Instead, it is becoming the starting point for commerce.
At the centre of this shift, Creators HQ — the UAE’s first dedicated hub for digital creators — has partnered with Amazon Ads to launch the Amazon Creators Foundry. Through this collaboration, UAE-based influencers can develop, launch, and scale their own products on Amazon.ae, transforming audience reach into long-term business equity.
The programme was unveiled during the fourth edition of the 1 Billion Followers Summit in Dubai. Organised by the UAE Government Media Office under the theme “Content for Good,” the summit brought together more than 15,000 creators and 500 speakers, representing a combined audience of 3.5 billion followers.
From Influence to Ownership
The Amazon Creators Foundry UAE responds directly to a clear market evolution. Influencers are no longer satisfied with brand partnerships alone. Instead, many now want to own the products their audiences trust and engage with.
To meet this shift, the initiative offers eligible creators within the Creators HQ network comprehensive, end-to-end support. Specifically, Amazon will provide operational infrastructure, seller tools, logistics capabilities, and advertising solutions.
Together, these resources are designed to help creators move seamlessly from product ideation to full-scale launch, accelerating their transition from content creators to brand owners.
Participants will gain access to:
- Training in online retail fundamentals
- Product ideation and validation guidance
- Digital marketing and customer acquisition strategies
- Brand-building support in the digital commerce landscape
- Gaming and entertainment commerce pathways
- Dedicated storefront creation on Amazon.ae
- Amazon Ads credits to improve visibility and reach
The programme also enables global expansion through Amazon’s international selling framework, connecting UAE creators with customers across multiple marketplaces worldwide.
Backed by Policy and Platform
The initiative aligns with the UAE’s broader strategy to position itself as a global hub for the creator economy.
Alia Al Hammadi, Vice Chairperson of the UAE Government Media Office and CEO of the 1 Billion Followers Summit, described the programme as a natural extension of the country’s ambition to empower digital entrepreneurs and diversify revenue streams within the digital economy.
Amazon Ads leadership framed the initiative as a bridge between audience insight and commercial execution. Creators understand their communities at a granular level. The Foundry translates that insight into a scalable retail opportunity.
A Structural Shift in the Creator Economy
The launch of Amazon Creators Foundry UAE marks a decisive shift from monetisation to entrepreneurship.
Traditionally, creators relied heavily on advertising revenue and brand sponsorships. Now, the model is evolving. Through Foundry, creators can develop proprietary brands, control margins, and build long-term enterprise value.
Importantly, the platform brings multiple enablers into one ecosystem. Education, operational infrastructure, global marketplace access, and advertising capabilities are integrated into a single structured pathway, lowering barriers to brand creation.
As a result, ownership is emerging as the creator economy’s new benchmark. Influence alone is no longer the end goal; equity and brand control are becoming the true measures of success.
Through this partnership, the UAE further strengthens its position as a launchpad not just for viral content, but for scalable, sustainable digital businesses built by creators themselves.
