Dubai Adjusts Parking Hours During Ramadan, Grants Two-Hour Free Window

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority. Roads and Transport Authority. Has announced revised parking and public transport schedules for the holy month of Ramadan.

Public Parking Timings

Paid public parking will operate in two daily phases from Monday to Saturday.

8 am to 6 pm. 8 pm to 12 midnight

The break between 6 pm and 8 pm creates a two-hour free parking window around Maghrib, allowing residents time for prayer and iftar.

Multi-storey parking facilities will continue operating 24 hours a day without interruption.

Dubai’s toll operator, Salik, has also confirmed adjusted toll timings during Ramadan.

Dubai Metro Timings

The Dubai Metro Red Line and Green Line will operate as follows:

. Monday to Thursday. 5 am to 12 midnight
. Friday, 5 am to 1 am the next day
. Saturday, 5 am to 12 midnight
. Sunday, 8 am to 12 midnight

Dubai Tram Timings

The Dubai Tram schedule during Ramadan:

. Monday to Saturday. 6 am to 1 am the next day
. Sunday, 9 am to 1 am the next day

Buses and Marine Transport

Passengers using public buses are advised to check updated schedules via the S’hail app. Marine transport users can refer to the RTA website for revised operating hours.

The authority has also announced updated timings for Customer Happiness Centres and vehicle inspection facilities during the month.

Crescent Moon Sighting

Saudi Arabia has also called for Ramadan crescent sightings, urging residents to report confirmed observations to the nearest court or designated authority.

Dubai’s Ramadan adjustments aim to balance operational efficiency with the spiritual rhythm of the month, accommodating worshippers while maintaining mobility across the city.
